Ok as we all know MTAC 2010 is a pretty good bit away. well I am already trying to get ready for it as i am sure so are most of us here. I have been looking at room prices for a big group called "Corner Office Productions" Topher knows about it as well as do most here ((I Think?)) anyhow I looks at rooms for 5 adults ((because i counted up those i knew were going in this "group")) and the price for 1 room was $533.04 for the durataion of 4-29-2010 to 5-2-2010 ((and that is 2 double beds)) for 2 rooms it is $1066.08 ((again that is for the same time and 2x 2 double beds)). Topher I am sorry but there was no Suites that I seen under the reserve a room thing. they might have them but i would guess you would have to call them. the number listed for them is (615) 885-2200.

Take it from an old pro. Book the room for two people only. How else do you think we afforded 2 suites for 8 people when we went to AWA in 2005? ^_^ there's an art to this.

well nothing has been set in stone ((yet)) and i was just going based on what was set forth by them.

Book one room with double beds and bring air mattresses! I have one and can get my hands on another. We split the cost of the room 5 ways and BAM! The cost is very manageable! Also just an idea, but it's worked in the past.

sounds like a plan. I will just have to consult with the others get some feedback and then get someone to actually book the room. (since i don't have a credit card)

yeah doub is current working on his "recording studio" (closet thingie) I haven't heard from topher in a while and as far as garret well haven't seen him for quite sometime either. I met up with doub earlier today to do a little anime swapping. I'm borrowing please twins and he is borrowing my chobits complete collection. (which includes the character song soundtrack)

Haven't seen any of them in about two weeks, but I talk to Garrett pretty often. Ryan Doub was talking about a meeting soon, I think. My powers of recollection suck.

well i show up when i can. (which usually ends up being sundays or monday afternoons. stupid kroger) anyhow it would in fact be enjoyable for us to get together and "hang out" and have a meeting or whatever soon but it all depend on everyone elses schedule.

Topher and Garrett are tough to catch on the weekends, period, and Ryan is hard to catch on Sundays. Monday usually works out the best for all of us. And me? Well, not like I have anything to do. I'm free most of the time, it's just getting me out of bed that's the challenge.

I'm sure incentives work right? think about it you would get to meet me. that's right me. and how often does that happen? lol

Yes, I suppose that would be an incentive. Of course, hanging out with my friends is always an incentive, but I have this uncanny knack for oversleeping--by several hours. And it only happens when I have stuff to do.

i do not believe we have met. or at least not to my recollection? but yeah the last meeting we had, we went to books-a-million up in spring hill and did a bit of brainstorming and research. after all eve's destiny is set in Osaka japan. (according to Doub) so we tried to find out as much as we could and find some books that might be useful which we did. not to mention I found google maps. yes surprising huh. well anyhow it is very useful since you can basically zoom into street level and walk around Osaka.

Pretty cool! He never told me this was set in Osaka. I think he should totally consider allowing all us VAs to use a Southern drawl, then. Osaka is like the South of Japan, where they speak with a funny accent that gets made fun of all the time (like us...?). The anime Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi was set in Osaka, and in the English dub, the VAs used a drawl to convey the Osakan accent.

which is why he set it there, so that those of us who are native to this region with a natural southern drawl wouldn't have to work too hard to get it right. (yes i am native to these parts. i was born at maury regional)
