Just A Thought... (Monday 8/19/08)

You know, I see a bunch of people with those little Bluetooth earpieces walking around these days. And if you don't see it, you think they are talking to themselves. But then the thought hit me. What if you see someone walking around talking to no one, and you think they have one of those ear things, but really, they ARE talking to themselves?

Man, someone get them a phone.

I love watching the people walking through the mall talking to themselves. You're never really sure.

This is Columbia, after all...

Okay, if you've seen the last two Batman films, you know that Christian Bale does something really strange with his voice when he wears the cowl and cape. It sounds as if he is suffering from a terrible case of emphazyma. (I don't know if I spelled that correctly, but whatever). About an hour into the film, I felt the need to go into the screen, and give him some Primatine Mist (TM).

But anyway, that's not my point. You know who he sounds like???? The epiphany hit me earlier today, when I realized, he sounds like Dr. Claw. Yes, I know. It's far fetched, but if he lowered his heavily raspy voice a little, and said, "I'll get you next time, Gadget... Next time," The similarity would be uncanny. So, there you have it. Batman is Dr. Claw... But that's not all he is. I think if we examined it a little further, we may find out who Cookie Monster really is, too.

Food for thought. At least for today. What do you think?

I laughed for what, 5 minutes solid?

And how. It was a laughtagious event. But I enjoyed it. It's wonderful how good laughter can make one feel. And I was happy to oblige.

There are images you can't unsee.

And there are sounds you can't stop hearing.

And Batman=Dr. Claw is one of them.

And those images and sounds will continuously echo through the anals of history!!

You have lost the ability to laugh???... How sad... How can this be??? Well, that's okay, sometimes that happens to me. But yeah, Dark Knight review, I am totally up for. I'll kick it around a bit, and prolly put it up tomorrow night.

Most may be too young to remember this, but I'll mention it anyway. Does anyone remember when Jay Leno was just the spokesman for Doritos? If you don't remember, I'll just let you know he was. Because he liked Doritos.

I remember. Motorcycles in the commercials or sommat.

Old school doritos bags were the shiz.

So were old school pepsi cans.

Yeah! And Wayne's World was on yesterday before I went to work. I saw the old school Dorito bag (which is kinda what got this thought rolling in my head) and the old school pepsi can, and also, the old school Pizza Hut box. I think the Pizza Hut box was really cool, too.

I don't have memories of old school Pizza Hut, other than the movie.

You know what else is cool? LEGOS.

I have one of those things I use at work and good lord do I hate it. I feel like such a nerd ... i am one but thats not really the point.
So what I like to do is have fun with it. Once n awhile I will put it in, phone off even, and start yelling a swearing at "the person on the phone" in public. I love the look on peoples faces.

I wonder, if the mascots from cleaning products and stuff hang out with each other.

Actually a lot of the Batman voice is edited in post, because Chris Nolan likes the sound of gravel-gargling.
