A few weeks ago I stumbled on a book cover at Wal-Mart that really captured my attention. In the end, I absolutely could not leave the store without that book in hand. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

In a word, brilliant! What could be better than tossing a few zombies & ninjas into one of the greatest loves stories/social commentaries ever written?

The next title scheduled for Quirking? Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters! Huzzah!

I always knew Elizabeth Bennett had it in her to disembowel a man in a heart beat...it's just that no one ever gave her a katana before!

I hear they're turning it into a graphic novel. That will be on my shelf!

Friday I saw a new one I'm dying to check out. Not a Quirk Classic....but it has promise.

Mr.Darcy, Vampire

Seriously!! I guess it picks up after Eliza & Fitzwilliam's wedding (and who here didn't know Mr.D's first name?). I'm dying to get my hands on this one! Exclamation

("Who here" as though there's anyone in this thread besides Rish & me!)

Fitzwilliam Darcy, a vampire... god, that made me happy in my pants! lol I must find this book!

Yanno, I find it incredible that the only three fandoms you ever see published fanfic of are Star Wars, Star Trek, and Jane Austen verse. That just goes to show, Jane Austen fans are freaks.

Rish, Don't bother. It wasn't worth the time spent reading it much less the $10 spent purchasing it. It was a pathetic attempt at capturing the attention of the Twilight fanatics. Crying or Very sad

BUT, Sense & Sesibility & Sea Monsters rocked!! study Definitely worth the read. Gotta' love the addition of giant killer crustations along side Willoughby, Edward, Marianne, and Ellinor. I l I love you ved it!!!!
