The BEST (in my opinion) Computer game, Back in the days when LucasArts still made games that had plots and didn't keep making all those ***Damn Starwars games.
MONKEY ISLAND.
a story about a young boy who washes up on the shores of MeleIsland, with a Dream of becoming a Pirate and sets out to do that, when he meets the Three Pirate leaders who tell him he must do three tasks, Find the long lost Treasure of MeleIsland, Steal the Idol of Many hands from the Govenor's house, And then fight the Sword Master of Meleisland.
But along the Way, The Love of his Life is kidnapped by an Undead Pirate named Le-Chuck, who tries to Make her his Bride, And takes her to Monkey Island, through the Gates of hell.
His Sotry Carries on, when he Beats the Evil Pirate Le-Chuck and becomes a Hero throughout the Seven seas, He then gets a ton of money and goes in search for the Long lost treasure of Monkey Island, BIG WHOOP.
Which he has to find the Four Treasure Map Pieces Left behind in different places on these Islands, And whats More Le-Chuck is back from the Dead to Take the Pieces of the Map and find BIG Whoop himself!
The Third Adventure, Opens with our main Character in a Bumper Car floating in the Ocean, Miles away from anyone, And he dreams of the Day when he meets his beloved once again, And then suddenly is pulled into the Island where he finds the Love of his life fighting with the Evil Pirate Le-Chuck once again, And he kidnapped by him, Blows up the ship, finds a GIANT Wedding ring, gives it to his girlfriend, and turns her into a Gold Statue, Which gets kidnapped by monkies, and then has to go to a Cursed Island, with Blood in the Name, and gets into a lot more trouble.
The Forth and final one that was released in the Series, Monkey Island Four.
After our Hero is married, with his Lovely bride they return home from their honey moon and everyone thinks that they had died because they were gone so long.
not only that, but their house is trying to be knocked down, and someone else is running for the spot as govenor, our Hero (did I mention his name is Guybrush?) must go and stop this, but finds out there's more to it, and may even be the return of the demon Zombie pirate le-chuck, and something worse, The Ultimate insult.
This Story With it's 4 video games, the first one coming out followed by the second one, and then Three or four years, later the third, and then six or seven years for the forth.
And now their finally putting out a 5th one, After Nine years.
Has anyone else Played these Awesome Games? Probably the very first two if you can remember them, if so please speak up and we candiscuss.
